We’re very pleased to announce that Turner Pest Control CEO Mark Slater was recently named one of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2016 RSM Ultimate CEOs. The award honors Northeast Florida’s most successful CEOs and those who set the standard in Jacksonville’s business community, including demonstrating civic leadership and charitable contributions. Honorees serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in their own businesses and throughout the Jacksonville area.
Mark has been at the helm since 2005, overseeing our steady growth from 45 employees to more than 160 and from $5 million to an expected $17 million in revenue this year. In addition, he has helped foster our team’s family atmosphere and our increasing involvement in the community.
As he said in the Business Journal article featuring award winners, “We give back to the community in many different ways. We impact many organizations as often as we can. The biggest thing we’ve done is Beaches Habitat for Humanity. We sponsored two homes for them to build. We also give to the Northeast Florida Boy Scouts, and many other organizations.”
From everyone on the Turner team, congratulations, Mark, on being an Ultimate CEO!
