Turner Pest Control recently had the privilege of sponsoring a home for a local family in the new OceanGate community on Mayport Road in Atlantic Beach. The community, being built by Beaches Habitat for Humanity, will have 70 townhomes, a recreation area, and an education center once completed, and is transforming a long neglected property into a great neighborhood.

“We’re so fortunate to be able to help house a local family and support the life-changing work of Beaches Habitat for Humanity,” says Turner Pest Control owner Ashton Hudson. “We serve thousands of homeowners throughout the area, and know what homeownership can do to build better futures for families. It’s an honor to help provide affordable, high-quality housing to our neighbors at the Beaches.”

According to Beaches Habitat for Humanity, stable housing and high rates of homeownership create positive social benefits, increase home values, and make neighborhoods more desirable places to live. The Turner team is grateful for the opportunity to help bring these advantages to the residents of OceanGate.
